LANTERNS

Something we've made a name for ourselves with,
Lighting up the Night with Community Spectacles.
Made by the People, Enjoyed by the People.
Intergenerational, Multi cultural, Very Pleasurable.

Lanterns can be a wonderful Community Unifier.
They are a great introduction to sustainable resources,
and can be as easy or demanding as you wish

Our Lantern workshops use Bamboo (renewable pest plant) and /or Willow which is grown and coppiced here at REACT for sustainable creativity.
Bamboo is used for introductory shapes such as pyramids or geometric styles, whilst Willow is better for organic shapes or anything curvy - animals, flowers, rats - the only limit is imagination.... and time :)

We Love Commissions

Let us go wild with your idea or theme. To your required size.
We create centrepeices that are show stoppers!

A great exercise in Geometry!

Picture
Teaching the Teacher Trainees 2012
Hiding the study of geometry by disguising it as a lantern is a smart move. Pyramids, Stars
of 4 - 9 points and
more elaborate styles mean there is a level
for everyone

Let us come to you and help your community Light up the Night. We love seeing the joy people experience by making their lantern exactly how they'd like it, then going out at night and admiring everyones work. Lighting by either battery pack, small torch or tea light candle depending upon usage.
We are happy to be placed in high profile empty shops
